The Xelent-330 Distribution Board is a specialized electrical enclosure designed to manage, distribute, and protect electrical power in residential or small commercial setups. It is particularly popular in Solar System installations (Hybrid or On-grid) as a “Combiner Box” or “Protection Box.”

It serves as the central safety hub, housing circuit breakers (MCBs), a changeover switch, and most importantly, the Xelent Digital Voltage Protector, which monitors incoming power stability.

1. Integrated Digital Voltage Protection (The “Xelent” Core)

• Real-Time Monitoring: Features a digital LED display that shows real-time Voltage (V) and Current (A).

• High/Low Voltage Cut-off: Automatically disconnects power if the voltage goes too high (e.g., >260V) or too low (e.g., <170V), protecting expensive solar inverters and home appliances (ACs, Fridges) from damage.

• Auto-Reconnect: Automatically restores power after a set delay once the voltage stabilizes.

2. Solar & Utility Management (Hybrid Ready)

• Dual-Source Compatible: Designed to handle inputs from both the Solar Inverter and the Grid (WAPDA).

• Changeover Switch: Often includes a manual or automatic transfer switch to toggle between Solar, Grid, or Generator power seamlessly.

3. Build & Enclosure

• Material: typically made of Fire-Retardant ABS Plastic or high-grade PVC (unlike older metal boxes), making it shockproof and rust-resistant.

• Transparent Cover: Usually features a smoked or clear flip-up door, allowing you to read the Xelent digital meter and check breaker status without opening the box.

• DIN Rail Mount: Standard internal railing to easily snap in/out circuit breakers and protection devices.

4. Circuit Protection

• MCB/MCCB Slots: Space for single-pole or double-pole breakers to prevent short circuits and overloads.

• SPD (Surge Protection Device): (Optional/Variant dependent) Some Xelent-330 configurations include slots for SPDs to protect against lightning surges.
